Eligibility & Age Limit
- Age Limit: 18 to 45 years for UR/EWS candidates (as of January 1, 2026); up to 50 years for eligible reserved categories of Himachal Pradesh and HP state government employees.
- Educational Qualification: Graduation degree from a recognized university along with required shorthand and typing speed standards on computers
Stenography Test :
The candidates shall have to qualify STENOGRAPHY TEST (in English) with a speed of 80 W.P.M., and accurate transcription of the matter dictated within a period of 5 times to the time allotted for dictation and a TYPING TEST with a speed of 40 W.P.M. in English and 30 W.P.M. in Hindi (by using Kruti Dev-10 font) separate test shall be held, after qualifying the Screening Test.
